How do I order an Ultrasound?
From the Physical Exam screen, tap the Imaging icon in the dock menu. Or, from the Linear Progress Note screen, press and hold the beaker icon to access the Imaging icon.
Search for "US," then you will see a series of tests that start with US and list an anatomical location that you can select. There is a generic “US Unspecified Body Region” if you don't want to select a specific location.
Once selected, choose the associated medical problem, corresponding ICD-10 code, and anatomical location.
Similar to pathology or lab orders, you'll then place the order, track it, and review the results from the EHR Inbox.
